The 2007 runner-up for the Calgary mayor's chair will make official the news that he's candidate #11 in the all-male race.

Debut Calgary mayoral candidate forum stirs secondary suites debate
Well known Calgarian Alnoor Kassam is expected to announce his candidacy for Mayor later today.
Kassam also ran for mayor in 2007, spending more than $1-million of his own money in a failed attempt to unseat incumbent mayor Dave Bronconnier.
Kassam says he “wants to take back the city and believes politics needs to change to a more bottom-up approach where citizen’s voices matter”.
